【故事】中国民间商会副会长，小米集团创始人、董事长兼CEO雷军：相信自己，每个人的人生都有无限可能

能够受邀在母校的毕业典礼上致辞，对我来说，是至高无上的荣誉。此时此刻，30多年前在武大求学的一幕一幕，全部涌现在我脑海里。

新生报到的那天，我第一次走在樱花大道上，阳光灿烂，风景如画，路边的樱园建筑群，古朴典雅，巍峨壮观，我一下子就爱上了武大。

武大四年，最难忘的是，大一的时候，在图书馆里看了一本书，叫《硅谷之火》，这本书帮我建立了一生的梦想。

珞珈山，就这样永久留在我的记忆里。

同学们，作为学长，首先，我要向大家致以最诚挚最热烈的祝贺，祝贺大家顺利完成学业、踏上人生全新的旅程！

大家此刻一定非常激动，同时又有点忐忑。其实，相比我们那个时候，此刻的你们，拥有我们以前无法想象的知识和眼界，也面对我们以前无法想象的广阔而复杂的世界。

各位即将远行，我跟大家分享两条建议。

一、相信自己，每个人的人生都有无限可能！

我在武大学的是计算机软件，我也特别热爱编程。我也曾经以为，我会做一辈子程序员。实际上，我的人生是这样的：

一毕业就参与了金山软件的创业，如愿做了一名程序员。

28岁的时候，我做了金山CEO。真的不是我厉害，纯粹是个意外。当时董事会没有找到合适的人，就决定让我先顶上。就这样，我从程序员走上了管理岗位。 CXO UNION-CXO联盟（cxounion.cn）

31岁的时候，我创办了卓越网，做了电商。

40岁的时候，我创办小米，做了手机。

51岁的时候，我决定人生最后一次创业，做汽车！

从软件到电商，再到手机，再到汽车，空前的跨度，更是空前的难度。每次回头看，都不知道哪来的勇气。同学们，真的是武大给的勇气。我在武大上的第一课，就教会了我人生最重要的一个道理。

我到现在都记得，36年前，新生报到的第一个晚上，我去了新四楼自习。隔壁教室欢声笑语、人声鼎沸，我就去看热闹。那时化学系正在举办迎新活动，刚从国外回来的一位老教授正在传授经验，他说，“有的同学上了化学系，思想负担比较重，担心将来不好找工作。其实，大学里，最重要的还不是学知识，而是掌握学习方法。只要会学习，无论做什么，你都能胜任。”这句话真的醍醐灌顶，给我打通了任督二脉。原来，学习能力比知识更重要。

这就是我在武大上的第一课，也是最重要的一课。因为拥有了这些能力，在以后的职业生涯中，面对任何未知领域，我都拥有了莫名的自信。 CXO UNION-CXO联盟（cxounion.cn）

同学们，能够进入武汉大学并顺利完成学业，就证明大家已经掌握了学习的方法，已经拥有了实现一切成就所需要的最重要的能力。难道，这还不足以让你对未来充满信心吗？

所以，无论什么时候，无论经历什么样的人生，我都希望大家，永远保持自信！

二、不仅要有梦想，更要有一步一步可实现的目标！

2010年，我创办了小米，立志要做全球最好的手机。

这是一个很疯狂的梦想，具体怎么干呢？当时，我不太懂硬件，就先从软件开始，先干操作系统！操作系统很复杂，工程量依然相当庞大，我们决定先把最常用的四个功能做好。

就这样，仅仅两个月时间，MIUI的第一版就做出来了。 CXO UNION-CXO联盟（cxounion.cn）

做好后我们没有着急推广，而是先找到100个用户，先让这100个人用起来。

就这样，一个看似不靠谱的梦想，就被分解成了一步又一步可实现的目标。

同学们，人生也是如此，路是一步一步走的，连起来，就是我们的成长旅程。合理地设定一个又一个目标，这些目标一开始不用太大，但这些目标的不断达成，这就是我们成就感和幸福感的源泉。

同学们，不管你今天的梦想是什么，我都真诚祝福你，祝你梦想成真，祝你拥有一个快乐而充实的人生。

最后，我想跟大家说，这是个正在快速变化的时代，AI大模型带来的革命，正扑面而来。过去几个月，我也花了很多时间学习。我相信，在座的同学们中，一定有人懂得比我更多、理解得比我更深。毫无疑问，这是一个全新的时代，更是属于你们的时代，你们一定会取得更大的成就。

To be asked to give the commencement address at my Alma mater is the ultimate honor. At this moment, more than 30 years ago in Wu University study scene, scene after scene, all emerged in my mind.

On the day of freshman registration, I walked on the cherry blossom Avenue for the first time, the sun was shining, the scenery was picturesque, and the cherry Garden buildings on the roadside were simple and elegant, lofty and spectacular. I fell in love with Wu University immediately.

The most unforgettable thing is that in my freshman year, I read a book in the library called “The Fire of Silicon Valley”, which helped me build a lifelong dream.

Students, as a senior, first of all, I would like to extend the most sincere and warmest congratulations to all of you on successfully completing your studies and embarking on a new journey in life!

As you’re about to leave, let me share with you two pieces of advice.

I majored in computer software at Wu University, and I also have a special love for programming. I thought I’d be a programmer forever. In fact, my life is like this:

Immediately after graduation, I participated in the startup of Kingsoft Software and became a programmer.

When I was 28 years old, I became the CEO of Kingsoft. It wasn’t really me. It was an accident. When the board couldn’t find the right person, they decided to put me on top. That’s how I went from programmer to management. CXO UNION-CXO联盟（cxounion.cn）

At the age of 31, I founded Joyo.com and started an e-commerce business.

When I was 40 years old, I founded Xiaomi and made mobile phones.

At the age of 51, I decided to start a business for the last time in my life, making cars!

From software to e-commerce, then to mobile phones, then to cars, unprecedented span, but also unprecedented difficulty. Every time I look back, I don’t know where the courage came from. Students, it is really the courage given by Wu University. The first lesson I took at Wu University taught me the most important lesson in life. CXO UNION-CXO联盟（cxounion.cn）

I still remember that 36 years ago, on the first night of freshman registration, I went to the new fourth floor to study. The classroom next door was full of laughter and voices, and I went to watch. At that time, the chemistry department was holding an orientation activity, and an old professor who had just returned from abroad was teaching experience. He said, “Some students have entered the chemistry department, and the ideological burden is relatively heavy, and they are worried that it is not easy to find a job in the future. In fact, in college, the most important thing is not to learn knowledge, but to master learning methods. If you can learn, you can do anything.” That really struck me as an Epiphany. It turns out that learning ability is more important than knowledge.

This was the first and most important lesson I learned at Wu University. Because of these abilities, in the future career, in the face of any unknown areas, I have a inexplicable confidence.

Students, being able to enter Wuhan University and successfully complete their studies proves that you have mastered the method of learning and have possessed the most important ability needed to achieve everything. Isn’t that enough to make you feel confident about the future?
