Doug McMillon is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., a native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He attended the University of Tulsa and received an MBA in Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
McMillon served as president and CEO of Sam’s Club from 2006 to February 2009. During his tenure, he generated more than $46 billion in sales for Sam’s Club, one of Wal-Mart’s operating formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
McMillon began his career at Wal-Mart in 1984 as a summer employee in a Wal-Mart distribution center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
