class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u81ea\u4eceNBA\u57282020\u5e74\u542f\u52a8\u6570\u5b57\u5316\u8f6c\u578b\u4ee5\u6765\uff0c\u7531\u4e8e\u4e91\u3001\u5206\u6790\u3001\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\u548c\u8ba1\u7b97\u673a\u89c6\u89c9\u6280\u672f\u7684\u52a0\u901f\u90e8\u7f72\uff0cNBA\u5728\u6570\u5b57\u6280\u672f\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u5168\u573a\u7d27\u9523\u7d27\u8282\u594f\u5df2\u7ecf\u5f7b\u5e95\u6539\u53d8\u4e86\u7403\u8ff7\u3001\u7403\u5458\u548c\u7403\u961f\u7684\u4f53\u9a8c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p Bhagavathula)\u66fe\u662fNBC\u65b0\u95fb\u7684\u9996\u5e2d\u6280\u672f\u5b98\uff0c\u5728NBA\u5de5\u4f5c\u4e86\u8fd1\u516d\u5e74\u3002\u4ed6\u8868\u793a\uff0c\u53bb\u5e7410\u6708\u63a8\u51fa\u7684NBA\u8054\u76df\u901a\u6d41\u5a92\u4f53\u5e94\u7528\u7a0b\u5e8f\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e0e\u9e70\u773c\u521b\u65b0\u516c\u53f8(Hawk-Eye Like many enterprises, continued to manage an on-prem infrastructure filled with servers running thousands of workloads on virtual machines. But that\u2019s all changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cWe had a data center that was heavily virtualized.\u201d The CTO says of the state of play five or six years ago. \u201cWe were very focused on creating a truly delightful direct to consumer experience powered by the cloud.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Like the NFL, the NBA CTO opted to partner with Microsoft to leverage its Azure cloud platform. Which Bhagavathula says contained all the digital components necessary to build the association\u2019s streaming platform. It\u2019s all part of a plan to build up a repository to enable the creation of next-gen AI- and analytics-based features for all parties, the CTO says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Taking performance to the next level<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">As for the NBA\u2019s teams, Bhagavathula points to CourtOptix, an application that tracks and analyzes action on the court. The tool, also developed on Azure, packages up data for each team free of charge and distributes it to them to improve their game. \u201cAfter each game, the teams get a cache of the data and can then use this to gain additional insights and stats for their own analysis,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Such sports-related analytics initiatives are significantly altering how professional sports are played across a range of disciplines, including tennis, where the International Tennis Federation is leveraging computer vision to help enhance player performance.<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">CXO UNION-CXO\u8054\u76df\uff08cxounion.cn\uff09<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Craig Powers, an analyst at IDC, sees no end in sight to that trend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cData in the NFL and NBA has changed the way the sports have been played,\u201d Powers says. \u201cIn the NFL, strategies that were once thought to be risky are now the norm \u2014. Such as going for it on 4th down versus kicking field goals or punting. This is the product of analytics \u2014 taking decades of NFL play-by-play data and assigning probabilities and point values to each decision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Like the International Tennis Federation, the NBA is betting that the increased use of sensors, cameras, analytics. And AI will have a major impact on enhancing player, team, and officiating performance. While players today do not wear sensors during live action games. Why?
