日前,汽车K线在北京,采访了曾供职于戴姆勒集团、苹果公司的大众汽车集团首席数字官(CDO)Johann Jungwirth(下文简称“JJ”)。他正带领着世界汽车工业的一艘巨轮,改变航向。CXOUNION CXO联盟 cxounion.cn
一年前,大众汽车集团携带勾勒未来的Sedric概念车来到中国,JJ就曾为汽车K线介绍了这款旨在为人们提供更完善出行解决方案的产品。

如今,他希望让Sedric在中国乃至全球范围成为现实。

不过,对于曾执掌梅赛德斯-奔驰位于硅谷的北美研发中心总裁兼CEO,以及苹果公司Mac系统负责人,JJ告诉汽车K线,他可以把自己在硅谷所学所有的想法,实践到汽车这个相对传统的行业中去。“过去两年里,我在大众汽车感受到了初创企业的氛围,到目前为止,我都非常满意。”
值得注意的是,不久前大众汽车集团又一次进行了调整。除了对于新任CEO迪斯的任命之外,大众汽车集团管理董事会、集团监事会近日还宣布将进行业务重组,以打造更加高效的集团管理结构。重组后,整个集团将由六个业务板块和中国区业务组成。

“在高科技行业,硬件、软件、服务已经做到了非常深入的垂直整合,但在汽车行业,目前还是侧重于硬件方面,比如大众汽车在硬件方面可以说已经做到非常完美,生产高品质产品,拥有先进的材质、设计。但在这个基础之上,在软件和服务方面,我们也希望能够达到高水准。”JJ一语道破当前传统汽车制造商仍然存在短板,却有潜力突破的领域。

或许,这也是为何苹果等公司最终放弃造车,选择非实体的软件领域与汽车业融合。2014年,苹果等科技公司曾公布了雄心勃勃的造车计划,但最终折戟。
相反,能够在发展中自我觉醒的汽车公司,更能领导未来汽车行业发展。

现在JJ所在部门工作环境非常开放、透明。他的办公桌,放置在非常开放的办公空间中,所有员工彼此之间都可以互相接触,没有什么层级和级别的差异。他似乎很享受这种氛围。
“我们位于北京的亚洲未来中心也是这样的工作氛围。对于年轻人来说,他们认为这样的环境有助于建立良好的同事关系,大家彼此间互相信任,都很愿意加入这样的团队。”

二、数字技术安全是成功关键

在中国,大众汽车集团(中国)已经成立智能出行服务公司(Mobility Asia)。它由几个不同的移动出行业务支柱组成,主要围绕移动出行解决方案和移动出行服务开展工作。
除了自己做,过去更希望控制和控股的大众也在转变思维,与其他企业展开合作。例如:大众已经与首汽集团展开围绕分时租赁领域移动出行解决方案的合作。

对此,JJ对汽车K线表示,“数字化技术安全是未来我们能否取得成功的关键。”他认为,目前这会涉及两点,首先是数字金融的概念。即在没得到用户允许的情况下,车辆数据不能被使用。
第二,与互联网公司不同,大众汽车集团从设计开始就要做到安全性。“我们的系统还不仅仅类似于防火墙,还用到其他解决方案,例如加密过程等等。”他认为,就像飞机拥有两套不同的运行系统,大众也希望从一开始就能够提高标准,确保安全性。

即使被黑客侵入,也要确保不会产生较大破坏。“应该将最核心的系统与其他功能系统分开。”JJ表示,汽车的开放不能大冒进,也需要有汽车工业的严谨。

A few days ago, the K Auto line interviewed Johann Jungwirth (JJ), the chief digital officer of Volkswagen Group, who used to work for Daimler Group and Apple. He is taking one of the great ships of the world car industry and changing course.

A startup?

Digital security is the key to success
As the largest and most important market in the world for Volkswagen Group, China is also the region where Volkswagen’s future mobility and digital strategy layout is at the forefront.

Second, unlike Internet companies, Volkswagen Group needs to ensure safety from design. “Our system is not just like a firewall, but also uses other solutions, such as encryption processes and so on.” Just as an airplane has two different operating systems, VW wants to improve standards and ensure safety from the start, he said.
Even if it is hacked, make sure it does not cause major damage. “The core system should be separated from the other functional systems.” JJ said that the opening of the car should not be bold, but also need to have the rigor of the auto industry.
